Children are abusing Children

The Children's Mercy in Kansas City, Missouri, is seeing a disturbing trend of children abusing children. They say that in over half there sexual assault cases the perpetrator is a minor most likely between the ages of 11 and 15 and the victim is a girl between the ages of 4 and 8. As a father of two daughters this scares me!

The above article doesn't say absolutely pornography is the cause of this trend, but they think it plays a role. Unfortunately, I can't wait for a study to come out to make decisions for my children, so I will have to use a little common sense.

Pornography is ubiquitous. 30% of data transferred on the internet is porn. 70% of men and 30% of men women watch porn.

Pornography is violent. A recent study of the top 50 films showed that 88% of the scenes contained physical violence and 49% contained verbal aggression. In these scenes the victim, mostly women, reacted 95% with pleasure or neutrality.

Pornography is reaching children through smart phones. Between 2008 and 2011 the number of kids under the age of 13 who were exposed to pornography rose from 14% to 49%.

Sexual assault is learned behaviour.

Now, I don't think I need a expert to put this together for me...
