Examine Yourself!

Job was the greatest man from both a heavenly and earthly perspective. He had everything any human could want.
There were born to him seven sons and three daughters. He possessed 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 yoke of oxen, and 500 female donkeys, and very many servants, so that this man was the greatest of all the people of the east. (Job 1:2-3) And, he had God's approval. Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil? (Job 1:7-8) Job was wisdom personified. "Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding (Job 28:28)." This is the very description that God used for Job. His action were faultless. He took care of the poor (Job 31:16), the widows (31:16), and the fatherless (31:17). Job was not lustful (31:5), deceitful, greedy (31:24), adulterous (31:27), vindictive (31:29), or hypocritical (31:32). Jobs religion was pure and unde…
