The news is full of talk about homosexuality. North Carolina approved a constitutional amendment that states marriage is solely between a man and a woman. President Obama himself came out and said that his stance on same-sex marriage has evolved. Biola, a Christian university, also made the news with the coming out of a LGBTQ community on its campus.

Voices on both sides of this debate have spoken for and against same-sex marriage. President of Biola, Barry Corey, gave a reasoned and tolerant response to the crisis that is developing on his campus.
Dan Savage, author, writer, and political activist, gave an intolerant and bullying (WARNING: Video is offensive) response to the topics surrounding homosexuality. These two people show a stark contrast between the different sides in this debate. Most of the well known voices that support homosexuality tend to be unnecessarily intolerant and derisive. In comparison, most of the well known Christian voices that do not support homosexuality tend to be tolerant even though they do not accept that lifestyle. Obviously, there are exception but in general this premise holds true.
